Icchey Gaon, Bhalu Marg Kalimpong, West Bengal 734301
Icchey Gaon is a forest village located 15 KM away from Kalimpong at an altitude of 5700 feet and surrounded by Alpine forests on three sides and Cinchona Plantation on one side. At night, you can relish the flickering lights of the distant towns of Namchi, Darjeeling, and Ravangla from our home stay. The morning sky is ruled by our majestic guardian Deity Mt. Kanchenjunga. You can get a panoramic view of the surrounding valleys, Teesta River, Alpine forests and Mt. Kanchenjunga from our Tashi home stay. While staying at our homestay, you can enjoy a short trek through the Pine Forest and spend some time bird watching. You can also plan local sightseeing trips to Lampokhari Lake, Reshikhola, Sillery Gaon, Pedong, Delo, Kalimpong, Lava and many more places. A one KM uphill trek takes you to a place where you can get the view of OM Parvat (The ice forms the OM Symbol on the Rock).
